All books, as well as most other commercial products, are not considered ready for market today unless the item or its packaging has a BARCODE. Pacific Northwest Barcode Services is the designated maker of EAN-13 custom BARCODES by the R. R. Bowker ISBN Agency for authors, graphic design agencies, and publishers in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and those elsewhere in the United States who prefer personal, professional, accurate, and Fast Service  by our knowledgeable staff.

The PNW Barcodes Custom BARCODE incorporates the ISBN and the price in US Dollars that a publisher assigns as the selling price of the book. The Barcodes we build for you are based on code numbers assigned by a sponsoring agency, and in the United States, that is the R. R. Bowker ISBN Agency. In cases where the price coding is not wanted, the Custom BARCODE can be supplied without a price extension. This is of particular importance if the book is to be sold in the US and in Canada, or other off-shore market. The important thing is that we are flexible to your needs!

Special stickers can be supplied for products that will be sold in a variety of markets where the price may need to be adjusted quickly, or for products that already have printed packaging that did not include a Barcode. In the case where the price coding included with the combination barcode on pre-printed packaging needs to be changed, we can save you the cost of a complete cover or packaging re-print by supplying a new price coding extension by itself on stickers. Delivery of stickers is only available by Postal Mail. Expedited processing and delivery of a stickers-only order is available.

Most orders leave our shop within a few hours of receipt; those not marked for priority handling may by run the following morning if we get backed up and it's time for our folks to go home for supper.
